An exciting year of wedding photography

With 2012 quickly becoming a distant memory it’s time to look to what’s in store for the coming year. I worked with some amazing couples last year and as always it has been a pleasure to share and of course photograph their wedding days.

It’s been a great start to 2013 with feedback and response to my website being really positive. I have made bookings in some great Northamptonshire venues this year such as Sedgebrook Hall, Fawsley Hall, Dodford House and Holdenby House to name a few, as well as some more intimate venues. I also have my first Hindu ceremony this year which I am really looking forward to.

Interestingly the couples I have been speaking to have really bought into the concept of documentary wedding photography at a time when there is a lot of stylised wedding photography around. I’ve also found that couples really look to their wedding photographer as an integral part of the day, more so than many other wedding suppliers. I have always felt very privileged to spend so much of such an important day with the couple and it’s nice to find couples who really buy into that relationship between the two.

On a personal level I am aiming to use my love of good food to work on some personal food photography projects this year and see where that might lead.

So looking forward to sharing some of my new images, looking forward to working with the couples who have booked me and hopefully looking forward to meeting some more.

Thanks

Matt
